I am passionate about making the lives of my patients better through state-of-the-art dental care. It is so exciting to see someone who was embarrassed to smile completely come alive after a smile makeover. So often this is just the start of a positive chain reaction in their life. The same is true for patients who come to me in pain. I feel like I can truly make a difference in their lives by providing a diagnosis and treatment that allows them to live their lives free of discomfort.

My approach to dentistry is holistic, taking into consideration each individual patient’s overall health and well-being. I have grown so much working with a diverse group of patients in this way. It has taught me to slow down, listen to each person, and tailor an oral care plan based on their particular needs, wants, and values.

My formal dental education was completed at Indiana University School of Dentistry where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. I love learning and I am constantly taking courses so I can provide the best services for my patients. I am so excited about the continual advances in dental care and I am especially interested in the relationships between dental health and overall health. My clinical learning never stops because I am always presented with new challenges, making dentistry a truly exciting career.

A native of Mt. Clemens, MI, I moved to South Bend in 1979 and except for my years in college, I’ve lived here ever since. My wife, Christine, and I have two wonderful children, Cheyenne and Athan, a French Bulldog named Lola, and Holly, our hamster. Aside from spending as much time with my family as I can, I also enjoy traveling, scuba diving, and reading.

As a dentist and a leader in health care in our community, getting involved to help others is just something that comes naturally to me. I serve as treasurer of the local dental association and am a board member of the Greek Orthodox Church of St Andrew. I have been a past president and am a current board member of the Mishawaka Business Association, volunteer at the Sister Margie Brannick Dental Clinic once a month, and participate in our local Donated Dental program. I am also a member of the Rotary Club and co-chair of Kid's Christmas. I believe that giving back to my community in whatever capacity I can is so very important.
